ALEX STASSI  MALE VOCALIST

Hi, my name is Alex Stassi.

I am a British born Greek Cypriot and my love of music stemmed from a very young age. I grew up listening to my brothers soul & disco records and recording the top 40 charts on Sundays. 
I would then learn the current songs and perform them at school in the playground during break and lunch times.

Watching entertainers such as Michael Jackson, James Brown & later on, Prince, I decided this was the career I wanted to pursue. (Even though at one time I wanted to become a cartoonist!)

Having a piano in the family home was handy too.
I am self taught and play by ear. I'm still trying to figure out the guitar!

At the age of 13 I was thrown into the spotlight and performed Michael Jackson's Billie Jean at a New years Eve dinner and dance and have been performing on stage ever since.

I undertook Btec 1st and National diplomas in Performing Arts, and even though I loved acting, my passion for music had already set me on my path.

I began performing professionally as a keyboard/vocalist to help pay my way through my studies but my love of putting on a show meant it wasn't long before I stepped away from behind an instrument to take center stage.

I cannot describe the feeling of performing on stage in front of people and the fact I've been fortunate to make a career out of it is an added bonus. Many people have come up to me at my gigs and have said that they can tell how much I enjoy being up there.

My taste in music is so vast and eclectic that I can have such a massive repertoire and still enjoy every single song I perform and this reflects on my audience and satisfies them too.
